What a blessing to have that brief time with Patti, particularly since Casey and Donna were there too! Glad we could include some photos of Patti too!

Interestingly, one of the nurses taking care of Anne and Alison, is an old friend of Paige’s from Corvallis, Linda Vreeland. There are a couple pics of her deftly bundling up Alison.

July 30th, 2007 at 10:47pm The FIRST Dinsmore grandbaby made her very grand entrance to this life at Salem Hospital. Our daughter in law, Anne bravely delivered Allison Elinor (named for Mark’s mom, Pete’s grandmom) Dinsmore at a whopping 10pounds 5and a half ounces and 21inches long. Alison has a headful of lovely dark hair, and apparently hazel colored eyes. She’s a beauty from top to toes and we thank God for her safe delivery. Pete and Anne are very very proud and delighted parents and Mark is bursting with joy over this Dinsmore girl!!!
Check out the pics of Alison’s first day when Uncle Casey and Auntie Donna came to visit for the second time. Great pics of Grampa Mark with his girl too. Dear Anne got left out of most of the pics. She deserves a good rest and lots of special time recovering with her beautiful new daughter.

Also, check out the link to pics of Ms Lucy Green, now 16 months old and very adorable and clever. We sure love her!
We are blessed and very thankful for God’s great kindness to us.

Gosh, Spring has flown by. It’s beautiful, as always in Oregon. The Northwest is a gorgeous place to live!
It’s been a trying nine months for us here in Beaverton with Mark commuting 150+ miles round trip four days or more a week. Too much. Makes for long days and tired bodies, and little time left for much else. We keep asking God if we missed His will, and PLEASE guide and direct our steps into His will for us. It’s a mix being here. I love being close to the Green kids and Lucy, now 14 months old.
See great pics of Lucy at www.flickr.com/photos/lucy_ann She is adorable beyond description. She was perfectly named, since Lucy means Light. She is a ray of brightness and joy wherever she is. I love her so much!

It’s a huge blessing to get together with the Green gang most weeks for dinner.

Pete and Ann Dinsmore are expecting the first Dinsmore grandbaby July 28th. How exciting.

Our house is finished except a few details here and there. Still need to post some photos. We still spend most weekends doing projects together, which we love. Home Depot is our favorite date place

We have decided that we should move back to the Corvallis area and are actively looking at homes there, and plan to list our home here this week. We trust God for His will and timing and blessings.

Gosh, we really need to take some new photos and put them on this site so you can see how the house and yard is shaping up! The total remodel is almost done and it’s quite nice. The kitchen is terrific. Now that the daylight hours are increasing, the sun coming in the windows in wonderful! Survived another Oregon winter.

Lucy is now 11 months old. She’s almost walking, jabbering constantly, some real words too. It’s great to be around the Green gang. Paige babysits Lucy occassionally. Life’s greatest joy. Praise God. You can see pics of Lucy at www.flickr.com/photos/lucy_ann

Mark is still commuting to Corvallis. We pray constantly for God’s leading for either a new job for him, or a return move to Corvallis since it seems the job at OSU is going to keep going. We appreciate your prayers for us.

We attend Solid Rock Fellowship in Beaverton. It’s a huge wonderful work of God’s Spirit. We have visited and enjoyed Crossroads church in Vancouver, WA recently too.

Paige is teaching a bit for Bally’s but isn’t doing much massage work. Meanwhile, her classes and massage clients in Corvallis are still waiting for her to return…… Is this a “sign” from God telling us to return there?

Merry Christmas. We Thank God for His mercy and blessings! We are almost finished with the remodeling project that included a total gut out of the old kitchen and 8 dusty weeks of no kitchen. No complaints. Our contractor Allan Leonard made sure we had our beautiful new kitchen by Christmas and his crew was here til late Friday December 22nd. There are a few details to wrap up, but we are thankful for a beautiful new kitchen just in time for Christmas! Our first dinner guests on Saturday Dec 23rd were our dear friends Rob, Jackie and Hope Bakker, just back from New Zealand. We dedicated our new kitchen to the Lord, and He brought our very special friends to share the first meal! Next, Pete Green arrived from San Jose for a 5 day visit. On Christmas Day, Pete, Jon, Sarah and Eric came over for the Traditional Green Brunch of waffles, strawberries and whipped cream. What a blessing. We missed Aaron, Jen and Lucy who called from Washington where they are sharing Christmas with Jen’s wonderful family. We did have a fun family gathering on Friday, Dec 22 at Sarah’s house….and there are some pics of the family in the new link called “new kitchen remodel” at right. Check out the photos.
You can see darling photos of Lucy, now nearly 9 months old, crawling and trying to walk at www.flickr.com/photos/lucy_ann/
Stay tuned for more pics as we update the rest of our new home in Beaverton.
God Bless YOU in 2007! Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (matt 6:33) Bye for now!

Well, here we are in Beaverton! Mark is still commuting to OSU in Corvallis at least 4 days a week.

We have been working on our new home. There are some unexpected challenges with the house, and after the initial shock, we are taking care of things. We did expect to do a kitchen remodel, and that project is now in motion. Paige is busily painting, as usual, and is not tired of it yet. We do miss the rich colors of our last home, so we are busily applying them here. We have already filled two dumpsters with yard debris making the front of the house more welcoming. We are looking forward to Spring and making this garden here our style.

It is wonderful to be around the Green kids and baby Lucy. We see Aaron, Jen, Lucy, Sarah, Eric and Jon often, enjoying dinners together. What a blessing.

We are attending a wonderful church called Our Place. It is very community-missions minded and seems to be a modern, high tech version of the Jesus Movement. The services and teaching are tremendously refreshing and touching. We hope to host a home fellowship soon and little by little find involvement.

The relocation has been somewhat disorienting and we continually pray for God’s guidance and provision for our lives. We want to be pleasing and useful to Him in all things.
God bless YOU!

We won’t be able to move into our new home in Beaverton (just a few miles from our kids and Lucy!) until Sept 23, so we will be “homeless” for about two weeks. We will store our stuff, take a short road trip, then stay with friends and family before we move in. Mark will have to commute for awhile from Beaverton to OSU until the Lord provides a new job in the Portland area. Paige will be looking for places to teach classes and do massage. We look forward to being closer to the kids and Lucy Ann, now 5 months old!
