Merry Christmas. We Thank God for His mercy and blessings! We are almost finished with the remodeling project that included a total gut out of the old kitchen and 8 dusty weeks of no kitchen. No complaints. Our contractor Allan Leonard made sure we had our beautiful new kitchen by Christmas and his crew was here til late Friday December 22nd. There are a few details to wrap up, but we are thankful for a beautiful new kitchen just in time for Christmas! Our first dinner guests on Saturday Dec 23rd were our dear friends Rob, Jackie and Hope Bakker, just back from New Zealand. We dedicated our new kitchen to the Lord, and He brought our very special friends to share the first meal! Next, Pete Green arrived from San Jose for a 5 day visit. On Christmas Day, Pete, Jon, Sarah and Eric came over for the Traditional Green Brunch of waffles, strawberries and whipped cream. What a blessing. We missed Aaron, Jen and Lucy who called from Washington where they are sharing Christmas with Jen’s wonderful family. We did have a fun family gathering on Friday, Dec 22 at Sarah’s house….and there are some pics of the family in the new link called “new kitchen remodel” at right. Check out the photos.
